HERE IS THE OFFICIAL WORD FROM PRE-PAID LEGAL:

Launch for Blastoff! is scheduled for 12 noon CT on Thursday, October 22.

At this time the Invitation link will become available and you can begin inviting non-PPL associates to join Blastoff!

Things you need to know and/or do:

1. Review “Email 101″ at http://www.prepaidlegal.com/blastoff
2. View the “Invitation” video/demo at http://www.prepaidlegal.com/blastoff
3. Make sure your email address on file at Pre-Paid Legal is the same as the one you are using with Blastoff
4. Questions should be directed to Blastoff via email.  Do not call Marketing Services or Customer Service at PPL with Blastoff questions.
5. Do not lose focus of your PPL business.  Be sure to finish the month strong.  Blastoff is “in addition to” what we’ve always done.

Note, you can send 250 invitations at a time.  You can enter 5,000 invitations into a que and as the first 250 are accepted, declined or expire, those in que will replace and be sent.

Also, many widgets in the Pre-Paid Legal panel have been deactivated. Many widgets were programmed to link to corporate site content. If that were to occur, we recognized the potential for associates to lose prospects through those links. We are now  working to ensure all PPL links follow you. We will reintroduce more Pre-Paid Legal widgets as they become available.

All new Associates processed by the Corporate Office through October 16, 2009 are able to activate their Blastoff accounts before noon on Wednesday, October 21. Any new Associates processed anytime after October 16th can sign up for their Blastoff page one of two ways. First, they can do as we have been doing, following the standard procedure and signing up 72 hours after their paperwork has processed. Or, if you want to get them in the game quicker there is now a second option! Option two is for the new Associate’s sponsor to send them a Blastoff invite which will allow them to get their Blastoff page set up. Then, once the new Associate’s paperwork processes and their information is recognized by Blastoff their page will convert to the PPL branded Blastoff page. For the second option to work correctly, the new Associate must use the same email address that they use on their PPL paperwork!

The $72 FS entry fee and $500/$500 promotions will continue through October 30th, 2 pm CT. At that time the $500 bonuses will no longer be applicable and FSTS will go back to the normal rate of $249.

Finally, Blastoff! has a marketing arrangement with Pizza Hut (box top fliers) that will begin on Tuesday, October 27.  We don’t view this as competing with our approach, but wanted the field to be aware.
