In case you’ve been asleep all day. . . Blastoff is overwhelmed with traffic–people who want to sign up–and this is a good thing. But sometimes, too much of a good thing is, well, frustrating.

DON’T PANIC! Just be patient while technology catches up with all of your amazing activity.

The sheer volume of visitors in the first hour have overwhelmed the servers at Blastoff and unfortunately the site is having capacity problems.  We’re being told this should be a temporary setback and the site should be live again soon.

We fully understand you have promoted this site and the need to keep the site online and functional is paramount in the operations at Blastoff.  We know they are working diligently to make sure that happens as fast as possible.

While we anticipated an on schedule launch, we did also expect challenges.  We also expect there will still be challenges after the launch.  It would be naive of us to expect a perfect system on day one.  That’s just how business online works. However, we know those challenges will be addressed and solved as quickly as possible.
