Team Freedom’s own Jerry and Sally Hasson, Silver EDs, sent a letter to Mr. Stonecipher outlining how they are using the November promotions to grow their team. It’s a great example of leadership–achieving your goals by helping others achieve theirs.

The company emailed this letter, but in case you didn’t see it, here it is:

Dear Mr. Stonecipher,

First I wanted to thank you for this tremendous promotion. I believe that the leaders at PPL are brilliant at creating urgency which helps all of us in the field move people to action.

Let me take just a moment to share with you how we’re using this promotion.

Last night we had a leadership call with our ED’s and Directors where we trained them on how to drill down through their organizations to identify all their Associates who would be likely candidates for reaching the Director position in the next 10 days. We had almost 20 people on that call. Then we assigned them the task of contacting all those candidates and urging them to get on our “Short-Cut to Director Call” tonight so that we could explain, on their behalf, the benefits of this promotion and energize as many as possible to take up the challenge and earn that $1,000 bonus.

During the day today, Sallie and I both prepared for this call and drilled through our own “orphan” organization (those outside our ED legs) and personally called over 60 of these candidates. As a result of all this effort, we managed to have over 70 people on tonight’s “Short-Cut to Director Call”.

While our organization is small compared to most others at our Silver ED level, our team has managed to inspire over 40 candidates who have taken up the challenge to make it to the Director level within the next 10-12 days. Many of them are in our open lines. With a little luck and a lot of work, we’re hoping to have an even bigger month than the last three (which were record-breakers for us) . . . and if we’re successful, this will finally earn us “the Ring”.
