Team Freedom’s New Year Kickoff event took place this weekend in Los Angeles, California, ushering in not only a new year, but a new paradigm for training Associates. The “The 10 Phases to Freedom” teaches Associates exactly what they need to know and do at each of ten phases in the business, beginning with Phase 1for new Associates and culminating in Phase 10 for those who have earned the prestigious Six-figure Ring.

The 10 Phases to Freedom were designed by Mr. Mark Smith, the leader of Team Freedom, and are based on a similar training a few years ago that included five phases. The additional phases allow Associates to climb the ladder of success with a sounder footing, with each level building upon information relevant to the the Associates actual experience in the business. “The bottom line is that unless an Associate quits, they will be successful,” said Mr. Smith.

The highlight of the event was the appearance of Mr. Harland C. Stonecipher, the CEO of Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc., who was obviously pleased with the turnout for the event. Mr. Stonecipher noted that the crowd of some 4,000 Associates was exceeded only by attendance at the International Convention.

Mr. Stonecipher spoke about our economy and noted that Pre-Paid Legal Services, Inc., “doesn’t need a bailout, it’s providing bailouts”. As proof, he referred to the number of new six-figure ring-earners the company recognized last year, averaging one new ring-earner every seven days! Mr. Stonecipher predicted that 2010 would be a banner year for the company and for those Associates who take advantage of the Pre-Paid Legal opportunity.

In honor of the launch, Team Freedom proudly unveiled their new logo (seen below) which exemplifies the core values of “Honor, Courage, and Commitment” which form the foundation of Team Freedom’s mission.

Associates from all over north America attended the weekend event, taking with them two full days of training and inspiration. The entire Team Freedom leadership believes that this event lit the fuse on what is certain to be an amazing year for our Team and our company.
