Jesse and Patricia Macpherson
It’s still hard to believe that in May of 2002, one little cassette tape would all together change my life. I moved to Los Angeles in 2000 to pursue my passion with dance. Although I could introduce myself as a professional Hip Hop teacher, performer, and choreographer, I was still looking for an opportunity that would provide what I knew my dancing could not. To this day I have never met a dancer that was living the life style I always wanted. At the age of 19 I was in a position I never wanted to be in − getting burned out on doing what I loved. It was at that time a woman in my dance class handed me an audio cassette tape about Pre-Paid Legal.
When people ask WHY I’m in Pre-Paid Legal, it all boils down to one word − FREEDOM, ultimate freedom, in all aspects of my life.Jesse Macpherson, hip hop dancer and choreographer
The last eight years with Pre-Paid Legal has been an amazing journey. On this journey, I have learned more about life than all my previous years combined. So many amazing changes have occurred. For example, clothes changed, vacations changed, food changed, cars changed; even my zip code changed! After earning The Ring by my 24th birthday, I still wake up and pinch myself to make sure this is real. Then in 2007 Pre-Paid Legal gave me the ultimate gift. I met my wife at an event in Chicago. Patricia Henao, thank you for making everything in this life more meaningful. I love you!
When people ask WHY I’m in Pre-Paid Legal, it all boils down to one word − FREEDOM, ultimate freedom, in all aspects of my life. Furthermore, I can give that same freedom to all the lives that I touch.
I have so much to be grateful for. First of all, I am grateful to Laura Bella Patton, my sponsor, for sharing this incredible opportunity with me. Thank you to my incredible team, my success is only a reflection of your determination. To our first six figure ring earner Hunter Gray thank you for forcing me to become more, and to all our Executive Director teams without any of you, none of this would be possible. Mom, thank you for never giving up on me and hitting Executive Director to push us to Platinum. Thank you to my upline for all your leadership and support, Team Freedom for life. And lastly, I extend my gratitude and appreciation to Mr. and Mrs. Stonecipher. Thank you for your vision and commitment. Your endurance through the struggles created the possibility for people like me, born generations after the birth of this company, to have the opportunity of a lifetime.
Don’t take for granted this opportunity that we have, don’t make excuse for your own greatness, and the next time you have a challenge in your business build a bridge and get over it!!!
As I looked down the path of success in Pre-Paid Legal, I said things to myself like, “I don’t know if I can do this.” But when I looked back I said, “but I CAN”T go back.” Have you come too far to go back? When you say you want freedom do you really mean it? Would you fight for it? Undoubtedly you will have challenges along your journey to success, but as my friend Artemis told me, “if you can’t go back then you must go forward, and if you must go forward then failure is not an option, and if failure is not an option your success is inevitable!”

This was heart and soul opening. It moved me almost to tears. Thank you all
