Liz Foo-Lequeux had a great start in life making close to six-figures selling health club memberships, but she felt something was missing.

“I was on the schedule six days a week with littletime off. If I wanted to travel, do mission work overseas, or have deeper relationships, it was very hard.”

That’s when she met a young man at a restaurant who was retired at age 30 and living the lifestyle she always wanted. “He told me to read the book Rich Dad, Poor Dad by Robert Kiyosaki. When I did, I discovered the only way I was going to get wealthy in this country was to start my own business. Pre-Paid Legal had the easiest business model I could follow and the best compensation plan I had ever seen.”

She started part time, working her Pre-Paid Legal business one hour a day on her lunch break.

Eight months later, Liz replaced her full-time income and was now excited to be her own boss, “My dad always said, ‘If your name is not on the building, you’re building someone else’s dream.’ My life is fuller because of Pre-Paid Legal. I have time for my family, I am more in touch
with God, and I am finally building my own dreams.”

Fast forward to 2010, she says, “It’s not about the money, but the people you can help.” Last year, Liz began contributing to the Villagebanking.org project to help third-world families start their own business and live the American Dream, too.

Because of Pre-Paid Legal, Liz had the time freedom to travel to Uganda in Africa and Mexico on mission trips. “We started Bible studies in four villages and provided shoes and food for 5,000 orphans. In the past few years we went to Europe for fun, the Dominican Republic, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, Turks and Caicos Islands, Mexico, Bahamas, Lake Tahoe, Catalina, and Marcos Island. Because of Pre-Paid Legal, I got my life back.”

“I am in Pre-Paid Legal because it’s the only company I can get involved in for as little as three to five years, and then retire on a passive, residual income for the rest of my life. Unfortunately, most people work a job for 40 years and retire with no residual income. Pre-Paid Legal is a three to five year retirement plan for me!”

So what now?

“This March 31st we had our first baby, Lilly Olivia. Thank goodness for the passive income from our PPL business; we didn’t have to worry about money or going to work the entire pregnancy. It’s truly a parent’s dream to be able to be at home with your baby every day, while you’re making a full time income.”

Liz believes her keys to success are the Player’s Club 10 program, reading one new personal development book a month, paying herself first before she pays her bills, and having strong faith that God always has bigger plans for you. Her favorite quote is Galatians 6:9, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
