Pre-Paid Legal has changed our lives! It was November 2004 when I signed up for Pre-Paid Legal as an Associate. A month previous to that, I had just lost my car and my full-time job as a personal trainer. I was also on staff full time at a Bible church that I helped launch after moving from my hometown of Johnstown, New York to San Diego. I love ministry, and God was really blessing me in that aspect of my life.

Financially, though, my life was a whole different story. I literally had nothing monetary wise. I was negative $200 in my checking account when I borrowed the money to get started in this business. I had every excuse not to do this business. My cell phone was shut off. I had no car (just a bike), and I was unemployed. But I didn’t let that stop me. I really believe all successful Associates must have such a white hot burning desire in this business, remain coachable, and pull their sleeves up and get to work in order to make this work. There is no other way around it. Because I was like a sponge and listened to my mentors and success coach, (I listened to the Jeff Olson CDs over and over again), and never missed a weekly meeting or training in three years, I was able to replace my new job after only five months and have been full time with the company ever since. My lifestyle today, after three years of hard work, has completely changed.

As a team, we were fortunate to earn the six-figure income ring. This year we will help six leaders on the team earn six-figure incomes as well before the end of the year. I live in a $600,000 new home in Southern California with my wife and children. I get to be a stay-at-home father, and I retired my wife from her job more than two years ago. I drive a new Cadillac Escalade now instead of riding my bike all over San Diego like I had to do when my car was repossessed. We get to travel all over the world, give back to my church, and still make a passive six-figure yearly income. Because of Pre-Paid Legal when our second child, Aiden Christian, was born in 2008, I now get to always be here for both my wife and my children.
